Over the next several years, the little restaurant’s popularity with local citizens grew almost without bound. In May 1971, Tony’s oldest son Larry came on board to help manage the business. Steven, the second son, added his services shortly thereafter in June 1973. The trio worked feverishly to serve the clientele and their efforts were abundantly rewarded.
On November 10, 1975, tragedy befell the family. Tony, the founder of the restaurant and patriarch of the Karam family, was called to his Maker. The restaurant was now in the hands of his sons.
